AAARS representatives took an active part in the World Bank seminar within preparations for REPARIS program, after which they paid an official visit to Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania (CFAR) Annual Congress in ClujNapoca, during which discussions on international cooperation took part with Romanian hosts and numerous foreign delegations.
AAARS representatives had an official meeting with CFAR President, where the issue was raised of supporting AAARS membership in IFAC and other international organizations. A more concrete cooperation was agreed in terms of sharing experiences, improving the profession and education and using the best practices.
On the second day, AAARS representatives participated in workshops and discussions on accountancy and audit where the AAARS Board President, Professor Dragan Mikerevic, presented the activities of our Association and views regarding the global crisis.
